What Is the MOFCOM Scholarship?
The MOFCOM Scholarship — officially known as the MOFCOM Scholarship–CSC Program — is a Chinese government initiative established to strengthen cooperation between China and developing nations. It sponsors talented young and middle-aged professionals to study at some of China’s most reputable universities, fully covering their academic and living costs.
Backed by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and administered by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), this prestigious government scholarship has been empowering mid-career professionals and academics from around the world since 2008. It is designed not just to fund education, but to cultivate future leaders who can drive economic and social progress in their home countries.
Fields of study span government policy, international trade, agriculture, technology, education, cultural management, and public health — all aligned with global development priorities.
